Welcome to VN TeamWork

The Early Learning Quality Network (ELQN) Initiative

ATTENTION: ANYONE PROVIDING CHILDCARE FOR CHILDREN AGES 0-8!!

Harris County wants to help!!! Early child care is a vital part in the development of our youth, especially for children ages 0-8. The Early Learning Quality Network (ELQN) is a Harris County child care pilot initiative focused on supporting quality improvement in early learning settings. In partnership with Harris County and CHILDREN AT RISK, VN TeamWork would like to hear from the community and get your input on the state of quality and share your feedback with the county on what is needed.  If you are a child care provider (center-based or home-based), parent/guardian with a child(ren) in child care, a parent with a child that has experienced child care in the past and/or any other stakeholders in this community (such as nannies, religious centers, afterschool programs, community centers, family members, relatives, friends, neighbors that give care to children), we want to hear from YOU. If you know someone that meets the above criteria, please share this post with them.

We need early learning child care stakeholders to take a short 5-min. survey (provided in the QR code and/or link below). We want to show our appreciation for your participation by entering each survey response into a raffle for two participants to win a $250 gift card. We will announce winners around April. The survey is the first step for us to gather valuable feedback from various members of the child care community. This feedback will help us create focus groups to further discuss the state of quality in our community. We will then form an advisory committee with the community  to develop a plan of action based on the needs to share with Harris County.

Please click on the below QR code (or scan with your phone) to access the short survey. Don’t forget to spread the word and share to anyone you know in zip codes 77072, 77099, 77036, 77074, 77081, 77027, 77056, or 77057 so they can also enter for a chance to win the $250 gift card!
